Earth Brown is a good color for those final touches. It’s a reddish brown that goes with the later signature coats at the end. Combining this with Earth yellow creates awesome color differences for the final details. Use sparingly.

Coyote is darker than Sand or FDE. Not quite bright enough to be a highlight, but similar to the Earth Yellow, except not quite as mustardy as Earth Yellow.

Olive Drab is an essential color. Just a hint of green and in the mid to slightly dark tone range. More color than field drab, but not bright like green lawn… unless your lawn is dead. Then it doesn’t look like that…

Field Drab is a good neutral color. It’s essentially a natural kind of gray, without actually being gray. I plan on using this as a later color to help mute some of the underlying brights and darks.

Sand is a good light base coat. It is lighter than Coyote and good for highlights. I use this color for all of my rifle paint jobs. Works well in the midwest.
