The Modlite OKW-18650 Handheld Light Package contains an OKW light head, 18650 body and tail cap. It also includes ONE 18650 battery and an (optional) XTAR MC2 Charger. While lumen output is only 680 lumen the throw is about 400% greater than the Surefire M600DF. This light head is best suited for situations where extreme throw is needed.

The Modlite heads have undergone an in-line upgrade. The new head is slimmer but still provides the same output and runtime as the original heads. Performance is NOT affected. This light will ship with the new head. All Modlite lights now come with ONE battery and an optional charger. Dual Fuel-marked heads support the use of CR123 batteries, at a reduced runtime.

Amazing light. I’ve been carrying this light for about 18 months, and it’s absolutely amazing. It’s reasonably light-weight and compact, and it has the power to punch through just about any photonic barrier. I run it with the OKW head to get maximum throw. Some people think the hot spot is too bright for some tasks, but it works great if you use the spill to search. I’ve seen some reviews praising the light for rural environments where light sources are scarce. I’ll tell you it’s also great in the big city. This light punches right through photonic barriers, so you can clearly see what is hiding in the shadows. It’s durable and reliable, and worth the price.
