Description
The Sons of Liberty Gun Works stripped upper receivers are made to the tightest tolerances while still being compatible with Mil-Spec parts and upper receivers. This ensures that there is absolutely no wobble between receivers which can affect accuracy. These stripped AR-15 upper receivers are a great starting point for your next build. They are forged from 7075-T6 aluminum, which is known for its high strength and crack resistant properties while also being lighter than 6061. After the forging process is complete, the receivers go through a final machining process to eliminate flash marks and true up the tolerances to be better than MIL-SPEC. Finally, each AR upper is coated in a black hardcoat anodized type III with an R5 bright dip to further increase corrosion and wear resistance. Can’t beat the price and quality of this reciever set. Both the upper and lower had arrows pointing to the “blemishes” but I could hardly tell there was an imperfection there. Fast shipping as always from Big Tex.

The slightly negative, it is a Blem set I know, but mine was very blemished. You hear stories of “I can’t find it”, nah. Mine was marked and easily spotted 6-7 blems. The spots marked with tape was nothing compared to the rest. Nothing you’d notice from 2 feet away and after a dozen trips to the range and in/out of the safe wouldn’t look the same.
As a whole, he’ll yeah I’d buy again and I will make sure BTO is on my list of trusted suppliers. Thanks again for the great service! Awesome product, great price, phenomenal service!
