No bueno. Poor machining left striations which are visable to the naked eye. Feeling these ridges under fingernail, I have no doubt they’d collect carbon deposits and be a booger to fully clean. Firing pins from Microbest, Toolcraft, BCM, Sionics, PSA, and Noveske bcg’s all have a much nicer chrome finish. The spare CMMG firing pin out of their survival kit is also smoother, although it doesn’t appear to be chrome. Hopefully this’un just slipped past SOLGW’s quality control dept. It’ll most likely function fine, but I ain’t gonna find out …sending it back as risk of failure due to stress risers is too high on this essential part needed to stay in the fight.
