The 6061-T6 aluminum barrel nut does not need to be indexed for gas tube clearance. The anti rotation tabs are designed to fit a standard forged upper receiver and will ensure that the rail will not shift if the mounting screws come loose. The patented ASAL mounting feature ensures that there is no forward movement of the handguard and keeps the handguard from shifting due to tension on the mounting screws. 100% American Made.

Good for a budget build. Machining and fit is spot on. Color is more of a burnished black than a true black. Plan on painting it if you want a true match.

Great quality and fit. The product feels great in the hand, unfortunately does not include a wrench or crowfoot for the barrel nut but not a huge issue. Would buy aagain.

Really nice fit and finish with this handguard. Simple design that is easy on the eyes. It doesn’t state it, but it seems slim in the hand. Assembly was very easy. Only downside is an aluminum barrel nut. I would have preferred steel, but I was aware of this before I ordered it. It seems to work the same, but time will tell.
