The Co-witness Ready Optic Mount (CROM) is a direct mount for attaching an RMR or Aimpoint Micro (H1, T1, H2, T2) to your Beretta 1301 Tactical Shotgun, Remington, or Mossberg shotgun. The CROM replaces the factory plastic rail and rear sight and directly mounts the optic to the shotgun’s receiver. This allows the optic to sit much lower, providing a consistent and proper cheek weld. The CROM utilizes an XS rear ghost ring that is adjustable for both windage and elevation. This gives you the ability to co-witness the rear ghost ring and the factory front sight, allowing an emergency backup sighting system in case of optic failure. Made in the U.S.A Covers must be removed to work with the H2/T2.
Rob Haught Mod: Inspired by the preferred Ghost Ring setup of legendary shotgun instructor Rob Haught, this modified aperture allows for quicker sighting and a cleaner sight picture when using a red dot optic with the CROM. The top half of the XS Sights aperture is milled off, resulting in an open U notch. The aperture is then deburred, sanded, and parkerized.
Notes: The zero of a shotgun is very dependent on the specific barrel and ammunition used. While the XS rear sight allows for a wide range of adjustment, we cannot necessarily guarantee a perfect co-witness. However, all testing has shown excellent usability with a variety of loads and guns.
If your Remington shotgun is not drilled and tapped using the Remington pattern, consult a qualified gunsmith.
Covers must be removed to work with the H2/T2.

This CROM plate has quickly become our #1 go to optics mount for shotguns. Simple to install, durable and the best part is most shotguns will co-witness with the factory front sight. The quality of the mount is top notch and holds up under recoil, just make sure to locktite the mounting screws. We never had any Shipping issues and we have always gotten what we ordered. Customer service is excellent and responsive.

There’s a lot of ways you can skin a cat (not sure why one would want to do that to begin with) when it comes to mounting an RDS on a shotgun, but Aridus has figured out the best and most effective way to do it. Yes, you could install a pic rail on your shottie, but that means having to use a mount on your RDS and then mounting that to the pic rail. This means that the overall height of the RDS becomes nearly untenable, especially if your shotgun doesn’t have an adjustable comb. With the CROM, the RDS attaches directly to it, giving the CROM the lowest rise among all other RDS shotgun mounting options. This means proper cheek weld, which in my opinion, is the most important factor in shotgun shooting fundamentals other than LOP.
