The Arisaka Vertical Grip is a robust, minimal grip for M-Lok handguards. It features a radiused profile at the top which tapers to meet the mounting surface on the handguard, giving a low-profile feel and ergonomic comfort. Twin mounting screws ensure secure attachment. The grip is hollow, with no end-cap.

The Vertical Grip is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodized. Requires a 3/32″ Allen wrench for installation (not included). Made in the USA.

*Far* better than the Unity VFG it replaced – I’ve somewhat medium-sized hands and I’m able to almost get a full purchase around this grip whereas I could only manage two and a half fingers around the Unity. I didn’t want an overly-elaborate VFG on my new M4-22 (as it’s there to mimic the VFGs on my two full ARs, not to help manage the recoil or weight) and this was the perfect fit for that.

Modern AR accessories have reached a level of quality whete its hard to be impressed sometimes. Verticle grips are no exception, or at least so I thought. Generally speaking I prefer stubby angles grips. But this grip is my new favorite.
I set mine up with an Aiisaka fingertstop. The combination of these two parts allows me to chose from a wide range of grip techniques and variations of C-clamp. The set-up is wonderful. The machining is fantastic. Toward the mounting point the grip becomes very narrow which is very comfortable. It almost feels like a lag, but smoother with a larger surface area.
I will be using this set up on future builds and begin retrofitting my other mlok rails.
