The C1 ACD is a leveling instrument designed for the C1 line of mounts to ensure that the weapon system is level before a shot is taken. It can be mounted on any C1 mount left/right fore/aft. It can be used in conjunction with and opposing other accessories or alone on the mount utilizing the provided standalone puck. The Level itself can be user calibrated to ensure that it is properly aligned to the user’s scope/weapon system. The level is made from a 3/4” glass vial and filled with a ceramic BB as opposed to an air bubble to ensure better accuracy and quicker response at different temperatures and pressures. The C1 ACD housing also allows the end user to attach a commonly procured tritium vial (not included with or sold by Badger Ordnance) to the level for use during low light/no light operation.

This rating is more on BTO than the ACD. The first one I got was defective, the liquid in the bubble level had leaked out because of a crack. Shit happens so no big deal I contacted BTO and the next day they had one in the mail to replace the broken one with a printed label to send the broken one back. New one came and it has worked fine since I got it.

Really like this ACD from Badger. Wasn’t 100% sure if it was going to work for me, but so far its amazing. I’d like to try and source some tritium to make it glow in low light situations; its awesome that they included that capability. BTO shipped it out extremely fast and is always my go to dealer.

A level is a must for anything over probably 400-500 yards. It’s especially difficult to keep your reticle level when you’re out in the field because your eye naturally want to line things up and nothing is really level in nature. It keeps out of the way but is easier to view than a level that is at the base of the mount like a sphur. You just have to level the level with your mount and reticle. I use the badger scope level jig for everything now.
