At first glance, the Dead Air Xeno Flash Hider looks like a common A2 birdcage. While retaining the iconic look and properties that made the A2 comp famous, it adds in threads to serve as the other half of the Xeno taper-mount system. When paired with the Dead Air Xeno Adapter, it allows for secure mounting without the extra weight.

It seems expensive for something that looks so close to a standard flash hider. But it does the flash hiding job pretty well, and the suppressor mounting job very well. I’ve put one on both my 5.56 guns.

Looks just like an A1 flash hider plus there’s no need to time it like the KeyMo flash hider. It’s also lighter and adds less overall length than KeyMo mounting system. Plan on getting the Sierra 5 to go with this in the future.
