Overview
The G45.STS mini 5X Magnifier has the similar weight and dimensional properties as the existing G33 Magnifier, but with an additional 2X magnification for precision aiming at greater distances. The mount provides fast transitioning from 5X to 1X and the optic offers tool free vertical and horizontal adjustments with a large field-of-view. The G45 is compatible with all EOTECH HWS models.

Magnification / Greater Precision
The EOTECH® magnifiers are designed to beused behind an EOTECH Holographic Weapon Sight (HWS®). The magnifiers can be mounted directly behind the HWS. Simply switch the magnifiers out of the way for quick 1X targeting. When used with the Holographic Weapon Sight, the user can easily operate the sight even with the magnifier engaged.

Eye relief is a bit lacking but it is still an incredible magnifier. Way better than the 3x IMO.

Crystal clear lens, I paired this with Holosun 512T. I do have to move up a little closer to the charging handle compared to my normal position to get proper eye relief. Love that the adjustments are tool-less so you can quickly adjust your dot if it shifted when you take the magnifier off and on your rifle.

I have this with a EXPS3-2 and included in the box is a riser for any Aimpoint Users. As well when mounting the magnifier, I have a little astigmatism in my left eye that makes the halo sight a little blurry on that eye and when I have this magnifier on the blurriness disappears and the clarity is amazing!

Paired with the EXPS3 in the 2 or 4 dot reticle this is a nice addition to the lineup. The dimensions really are basically identical to the G33. Perks are the additional magnification with no significant change to weight or size. The eye relief/box is slightly more picky than the G33 but worth it. I love that I can have 5x magnification that I can take off quickly with the QD mount and toss in my bag when I don’t want the weight, unlike a LPVO.
