FAST™ is a series of optic mounts and platforms that provide end users with a quicker sight picture than standard height mounts. A 2.26” optical centerline height provides faster/easier reticle acquisition while wearing electronic earpro/communications headsets, night vision goggles and gas masks and allows for more rapid visual processing of the battlefield by promoting a heads-up posture. A heads-up posture also helps users maintain a neutral spine position which is more comfortable while wearing helmets, plate carriers, and other heavy gear.

Great mount from Unity and perfect for the RDS!

Absolutely love this mount. It’s the perfect height. I’ve got an aimpoint t2 sitting on top of it. 1.93 and 2.26 mounts are too tall for my liking. 1.54 and 1.57 seemed too short. This sits around a 1.80 if my math is correct. Plus I didn’t want QD. Unity makes great stuff. BTO offers great prices, lightning fast shipping, and top notch customer service.

Glad unity made one for the RDS. Works great! However, if you pair this with the Unity omni FTC for vortex/eotech, part of it obstructs the bottom portion of the RDS window. Other than that’s works great.
