The EMR features a slightly curved button surface to fit the natural curvature of your finger. The form fitting curve, along with horizontal serrations, create a self centering surface that inhibits the finger’s vertical movements. The EMR has a milspec through hole for the magazine catch’s shaft, and is only 0.02″ taller than the factory magazine release button. When installed, the EMR has minimal protrusion above the mag release button fence on most forged receivers.
Made from 7075 T3 aircraft grade aluminum bar stock, Type 3 Hard Coat anodized, or 17-4 SS QPQ coated (optional)

I recommend using it in conjunction with their bolt release. It works but i was thinking there would be a little more meat on the back side of the ambi tab so i could get more of a nice positive fulcrum motion when pressing the release. The way it sits the tab kind of flops around a bit on the side of the lower with a little more play than i would like. Maybe they do that on purpose to avoid accientally dropping the mag which would be damn near impossible with this thing. When i change mags i have to very purposely push the tab with my thumb and strip the mag at the same time as it doesnt give me enough stroke to get the mag release bar completely clear of the mag well like it does when i push the mag release button. All together it gets the job done and is very simple in its design. I currently have it on a DD lower.

Best ambi mag release out there. I prefer this over my SLR/Norgon one and it’s on all my builds now.
