Hodge Defense Low Profile Gas Block
Precision machined from 4140 steel with a journal size of .750. Our gas block comes pre-drilled for pinning to the barrel. 3 knurled set screws and a stainless steel coil pin are included. Our gas block also has a hole located in the front to aid in gas tube removal.

Normally a huge fan of Hodge but this gas block is quite lacking. Set screw size is 8-32 which is quite small when most newer blocks are running 10-32. NO info for torque spec for set screws. No idea why both sides of the block are drilled for the barrel pin, with the possibility of drill bit deflection from the barrel it makes no sense to drill both sides. Would have been nice to just have a flat spot like SOLGW and FCD. Also mine was missing the coiled roll pin.

Great gas block. Wish all gas blocks came standard with the hole predrilled for pinning. Hodge makes some great products!
