Hodge Defense Upper Receiver, now commercially available in 7075-T6 Aluminum.  Precision machined to Hodge Defense’s specifications, and held within =/- .001″ for critical dimensions, this upper receiver is a MIL-SPEC style upper with slightly improved specs to increase upper rigidity and better barrel to upper interface. This results in greater potential accuracy!

Thermal Fitting is required. To thermally fit a barrel, simply apply heat to the upper receiver (via a heat gun, or even a hair dryer) for 120-180 seconds to expand the aluminum slightly prior to fitting a barrel. This tight fit provided with thermal fit uppers enhances accuracy potential, but it does take some practice and getting used too.  I would recommend wearing gloves to protect the hands and apply heat liberally.
