Holosun 407K-X2 Micro Red Dot
The sub-compact pistol sized Holosun 407K-X2 Red Dot Sight provides a large field of view paired with useful features that will help you stay on target while greatly reducing target acquisition time. Though compact, this optic offers large brightness control buttons and a side access battery tray, which allows the operator to change the battery without un-mounting the product.
Holosun machined this product from light yet rugged 7075 T6 aluminum and added a multicoated lens that provides a bright, crisp sight picture. The Holosun 407K Red Dot Sight uses a high capacity lithium battery to power the optic, ensuring you’ll always have a reliable point of aim in the field. These optics are designed with Shake Awake technology that senses motion to power the sight on and off, and last setting recall ensures you don’t lose your customized options once the unit powers down. Dot is crisp, and I have a slight astigmatism. Window is good for the size. install and zero were easy. Comes with good packaging and accessories. However…. every once in a while, the dot will virtually disappear after it hasn’t been handled for a bit. I had to take the battery out and put it back in one time to be able to even readjust the brightness. Perhaps the buttons are too sensitive, or maybe I got a slightly defective optic. Not sure. If the issue persists, I might look into warranty. Time will tell…
