The new HE508T-X2 Micro Red Dot System from Holosun is a pistol-sized optic with an open frame for a great sight picture, clear glass and a nearly indestructible CNC machined Titanium housing. It is powered by a CR1632 battery and Holosun’s innovative Solar Fail-safe back up. The HE508T will run over 5 years on a single battery on setting 6, dot only. Featuring our Multi-reticle system, the HE508T allows the operator to switch the reticle between a 32 MOA circle with 2 MOA dot, a 2 MOA dot only, or a 32 MOA ring only, all at the push of a button. Better yet, the same LED projects all three reticles, so no re-zeroing is necessary. It comes equipped with Holosun’s Shake Awake technology with last setting recall and the new Lock Mode. This optic has our features in one tough, small package. Available in Green or Red dots

    I use the 507C and 508T models almost exclusively. This 508T model is very lightweight and robust thanks to the titanium body. I like the matte black finish as compared to the slightly shinier anodizing on the aluminum models such as the 507c. I have four 508Ts, and every one of them has fit up nicely and work great. My only minor gripes:

    1. Donut of death reticle on one of my four 508T optics is slightly canted. Not a big deal for me as I use dot only, but if I had intended on using the circle dot, this would have definitely aggravated my OCD.

    2. On one or two of my 508T optics, the clicks on the windage and elevation adjustments are hard to feel. The optics hold zero but the clicks feel a little mushy. Not a huge deal.

    3. Be sure to witness mark the mounting screws and battery tray screw. And use Loctite 243. Vibratite has failed me several times on pistol optics.

    This is a duty ready, feature packed optic at a reasonable price.
