This carrier was designed to function effectively in full-auto, suppressed, and short barrel weapon systems, and it is made of materials far more durable than your standard fare. Quite simply, it’s the best possible upgrade for your rifle to increase reliability and functionality.
The LMT® enhanced carrier offers the following:
- Altered cam path for longer dwell time and more robust extraction
- Modified gas hole improves gas flow across the bolt’s tail
- Additional gas ports on right side and modified orientation to improve gas flowing through the ejection port, and not into your face
- Relief grooves added to the top and bottom to channel debris and maintain fluid movement

Kind of an odd duck (semi auto enhanced). IT is high quality but you probably don’t need this for your build and the e-bolt would be a better upgrade.

So diminishing returns are a thing when it comes to bcgs, but my 11.5” carbine gas is more forgiving on gas block adjustment when running different ammo and cans than it was with standard bcm bcg. I want to think it’s throwing gas differently because I taste less of it, but the wind could just have been in my favor Everytime I’ve shot it since installing. I also want to say it seems less loud to me, the shooter, but could be imagining it. Either way, great bolt carrier.

These are hard to find. Love mine, really helps redirect gasses on my suppressed rifles. LMT is awesome, purchase with confidence.
