    So, no shit, there I was. The AFT approved my stamp. .30 cal Surefire suppressor in one hand, Surefire 3 prong flash hider in the other. I think to myself…. I don’t have the correct tool to install this muzzle device on my LaRue Ultimate Upper. At first I contemplated, that indexing pin plus the already torqued barrel nut could probably handle the mere 20-30 foot pounds of torque on this little flash hider. Then I came to the conclusion that was how the poors would think about things. So I manned up and whipped out my USAA platinum Visa and ordered the Midwest upper receiver rod .308! After first making sure I had reviewed all my previous purchases to maximize my BTO rewards points and entered a “friendly” coupon code. Remember only suckers and losers pay full price….. yeah yeah yeah, the rod works great; it holds the upper in place and does all the things you would need a receiver rod to do.
