The Modlite PLHv2-18650 Weapon Mounted Light Package contains an PLHv2 light head, 18650 body with selectable tail cap options. It also includes ONE 3500mAh 18650 battery and an (optional) Xtar charger.
While lumen output with this light is similar to the Surefire M600DF, the throw is much better suited to allow PID (Positive ID) at greater distances at more than three times the amount throw than the M600DF. This light is a large step forward from the PLHv1 light. Lumen output is about the same but throw is greatly improved. It is the best balance of flood and throw available.

Lithium CR123 cells are not supported and if used will cause the cells to heat up and possibly explode or catch fire. We recommend the KeepPower 18650 high drain cells which can be found here. Runtime is about 75 minutes with the supplied 18650 cells.

This light is incredible. Super bright. Inside the splash of the light can light up the rest of the room so even if you aren’t looking directly at something you can see it. I have been able to light up the side of a house 200 yards away. Absolutely amazing. Definitely feels high quality. Only negative would be the cost and weight but worth it.
I have two of these. One running with the DS surefire tailcap and the other with the UU surefire tailcap. Both using modbutton lite’s. All work great no problems.

Throws a whole lot of light, a weapon mounted spotlight I can see out plenty far across a small horse farm with. Lights up anywhere out to a solid distance and you can see coyotes and other pests like it’s broad daylight. Can guarantee you this thing will be like getting flashed by the sun to any bump in the night you shine it at.
