I really wanted to like this light. The output isn’t as great as I was hoping and the “hot spot” of the light is a lot tighter than I had anticipated. This trade off isn’t worth it to me because in actual use I can’t see much further than with my Cloud Defensive MCH HC 2.0. I’m okay with the lack of flood but for 170,000 candela I expected more throw. It might have something to do with the very white/blue color tone of the HOG vs the MCH. It doesn’t get through tint as well as I thought it would either. The battery life and size of the light is great and the switch is excellent. The overall build quality is excellent as well. This isn’t a ding on the light but adjustable output would be a nice feature.

Great duty light, works well from vehicle, not so much in buildings, almost too bright. Great quality as always

I love my hog. It’s almost 7 inches long and has a nice girthy head. It does create a bulge in my pants but that’s to be expected when you’re packing a piece like this
