This light head is a direct replacement for the Surefire M600DF head. It can be used with the Modlite 18650 body or the smaller Modlite 18350 body. While lumen output is only 680 lumen the throw is about 400% greater than the M600DF. This light head is best suited for situations where extreme throw is needed.

Heads are differentiated by clear, lasered markings – “Dual Fuel” and “Multi-Mode”.
User Programmable:
Heads will ship in High only mode by default. Users can choose to switch to the High/Admin mode by:
1. Activate the light 12 times rapidly on and off.
2. Hold the tailcap on the 12th activation
3. The light will pause after the 12th activation, then flash twice. You have now activated the Admin feature.
4. To switch back to high lock mode, simply repeat the 12-tap process.
Note: An instructional QR code with linked video instructions will be included.
Do not stack 18350 cells into an 18650 body this can cause the light to malfunction. Only use 18650 cells in 18650 bodies and 18350 cells in 18350 bodies.

Another home run from Modlite with this product. Out of all of the other popular duty/defense hand held lights I have used Modlite is by far the best and most reliable. The only thing it was missing, in my opinion, was the ability to dial back the power of the sun, just a little, for minor tasks and this new head offers just that. I am now able to have a high/low mode with the only light brand I feel comfortable trusting as my primary light. They even hit the mark with the high mode coming on first and admin mode being available as a secondary option with a quick off and back on press. Great job Modlite and great job Big Tex for getting it to me quickly as always!
