The Modlite PLHv2-18650 Handheld Light Package contains a PLH V2 light head, 18650 body and tail cap. It also includes ONE 3500mAh 18650 battery and an (optional) Xtar charger. While lumen output with this light is similar to the Surefire M600DF, the throw is much better suited to allow PID (Positive ID) at greater distances at more than three times the amount throw than the M600DF. This light is a large step forward from the PLHv1 light. Lumen output is about the same but throw is greatly improved. It is the best balance of flood and throw available.

Great for EDC. I think it’s the best in terms of spill and throw. Rechargeable, modular interchangeable parts. Really versatile where no other light shines. Only small downside is the battery doesn’t last that long but you get quality.

Rock solid light. Long throw and simple activation. This is not you 15 different modes multi purpose task light. This is for putting a lot of light on something a moderate distance away

This is an epic handheld. Constructed well, lasts a good long while, I love that I can change heads between OKW and PHL but I wish it had a low mode in addition to full power mode.

Modlite is without a doubt at the top of the pile right now. SureFire and Streamlight are always great, but Modlite has become my go to for handheld and WML. THe price point might be a bit higher than Streamlight, relatively on par with SureFire but the output on these things is well worth the price. Amazing output and coverage. Modlite is my EDC. It goes with me everywhere. Can’t beat the super fast shipping wither from BTO!

Being able to kit out your new EDC or duty light is a convenience to say the least when you can get everything from a place that ships it out fast and as you order it. I ordered an 18650 body with the plhv2 head on a thyrm switchback. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it a solid choice to equip yourself? Yes. That being said, it’s worth your pennies. Illumination out to distances of well over 100 yards is easy and photonic barriers are easy work for this light
