This light package contains a PLHv2 light head, 18350 body with selectable tail cap options. It also includes ONE 1200mAh 18350 battery and an (optional) Xtar charger.
While lumen output with this light is similar to the Surefire M600DF, the throw is much better suited to allow PID (Positive ID) at greater distances at more than three times the amount throw than the M600DF. This light is a large step forward from the PLHv1 light. Lumen output is about the same but throw is greatly improved. It is the best balance of flood and throw available.

Lithium CR123 cells are not supported and if used will cause the cells to heat up and possibly explode or catch fire. We recommend the KeepPower 18350 high drain cells which can be found here. Runtime is about 35 minutes with the supplied 18350 cells.

You can also purchase the PLHv2 , OKW and IR Head separately for your Modlite or Surefire M600DF Bodies. The Modlite 18350 and 18650 bodies work with all Surefire Scout tape switches, tailcaps and mounts.
The Modlite heads have undergone an in-line upgrade. The new head is slimmer but still provides the same output and runtime as the original heads. Performance is NOT affected. This light will ship with the new head. All Modlite lights now come with ONE battery and an optional charger. No tail cap is included unless one is selected.Â

Was a surfire guy tell I started using these lights. Absolutely amazed and changed my EDC and defensive setup. If you are on the fence between the Flood and the throw I would go with this head. There is more spill than the OKW but this one has a little bit of throw as well. If you still on the fence then you cant go wrong with either. You will not be disappointed with either. I am hard on all my equipment and these are still holding up strong. Also this body is perfect if you have a small rail and limited space. The only downside is the runtime on the 18350. but that can be taken care of by buying more of these on hand especially when taking a class .

Great customer service and great products. the light is bright and the small compact package I got was perfect for a CQB type (non military) love the product and you will be happy with this light. only downfall is the runtime, would recommend picking up extra batteries from here as well.
