NEWLY RELEASED Trijicon SRO (Specialized Reflex Optic)

The Trijicon Specialized Reflex Optic (SRO™) 1.0 MOA Adjustable LED red dot is best suited for use on a rifle or target pistol application or in applications where increased accuracy at distance is needed.

The wide field of view and clean, crisp dot makes it easy for users to find and track the dot in both target and competitive shooting applications, helping improve shooting accuracy and speed. Every SRO features both manual and automatic LED brightness modes and a 3-year battery life.

The SRO is designed to survive the rigors of slide ride pistols and is engineered for hard use. It shares a similar electronics design with the proven Trijicon RMR®.

Like the RMR the SRO is forged from 7075, T-6 aircraft grade aluminum, making it much more durable than conventional red dot sights. This forged housing protects the lenses and electronics, and it has been tested to survive typical pistol mounted drops.

What is there not to like about the SRO?!?! It’s a phenomenal and reliable red dot! I run mine atop my Beretta Elite LTT RDO and I couldn’t be happier! I know it comes down to personal preference, as with most firearm related things, but it’s hard to beat this one. The SRO has a large window for easy and fast target acquisition, helps maintain situational awareness, and has a daylight bright red dot. You can’t go wrong with an SRO and Big Tex-O had em’ in stock so I grabbed one! I highly recommend this optic for pistol with the RMR footprint!

I am a big fan of the SRO. I’m currently running multiple optics on different guns: Romeo 1 PRO, 509T, RMR, SRO, 507K. The reason I went for the SRO because of the bigger window and battery compartment is easier to access. The bigger window is more forgiving than most optics meaning my bigger window can be help me track my target faster.

I know AC of Sage Dynamics said it was not duty rated and per his test, I can see why. But I have been carrying it on duty for a bit and zero issues with the optic itself. My only issue is finding a proper duty holster. It appears there is no real duty holster out there for it, 6395 RDS series, but there is a way you can “shave” down the inside of holster guts to make the SRO fit. Overall, it’s a great optic, durable for patrol operations, and easy adjustments. I would totally recommend this optic for what you are needing out of it!

Love it. Bigger window than the RMR, maybe not quite as bomb-proof but great competition optic, happy with mine on a Shadow 2

I’ve carried an SRO for a year now, and it’s seen typical EDC abuse. Bumps, knocks, standard range abuse and it’s been completely fine. While I’m sure it’s less durable than the RMR at extremes, it still seems more than tough enough for your average EDC user. Glass is nice and clear and the dot is a perfect circle to my eye. Love the 5moa version.

Got this for a competition gun, Trijicon really knocked it out the ball park. Especially since it is the exact same mounting footprint as the RMR so I did not have to get a slide milled for it. Compared to my RMRs the SRO has a significantly larger window that makes dot acquisition much quicker and I like how it has a top loading battery so that you dont have to unmount the optic to change it out. Thank you BTO
