The HexCap is a ruggedly simple, snap-fit Anti-Reflection Device (ARD) that installs securely in seconds to your red dot sight with no additional hardware.
We designed the HexCap to be as low profile as possible while maintaining durability for use in the field. Its hexagonal lattice allows you to see through the optic with minimal obstruction while eliminating downrange reflections.
Anti-Reflection Devices are nothing new, but there simply aren’t good options for many of the red dots on the market today – especially with the rise in popularity of top-mounted and offset red dot sights. Our goal with HexCap is to solve that problem.

Eliminates Reflection
The HexCap completely eliminates any reflection at 33° from the viewing axis and significantly reduces reflections to viewers directly in front of the optic due to its shading affect and light-absorbing surfaces.
Low Profile
We designed the HexCap to be as low profile as possible while maintaining durability for use in the field. This means maximizing your field of view and minimizing snag points while playing nicely with other optics you want to mount it on or near.

It’s acceptable for what it does. The pattern isn’t very obstructive, but I can see where it might be an issue as it provides no lens protection.

[The hexagon pattern is too large. Blocks dot considered to a milspec ARD. Picks up glare still at certain angles. Its still better than not having one]
This item is a cheaper alternative to an actual Aimpoint ARD. I would not recommend this item for someone who would actually needs it. You would be better off buying the actual ARD from aimpoint. In the long run, it will protect your lens and offer some glare reduction.
