PHLster Pro Series Holster

(25 customer reviews)

In 2016, the PHLster Classic lead the way in integrating organic forms into a molded holster. Continuing on that path, the PHLster Pro  takes further steps to blend the shape of the gun into an organic and ergonomic form. The increased smooth surface area reduces hotspots and ensures that the typical holster trouble spots are fully radiused and rounded for maximum comfort for both AIWB and behind-the-hip carry. The fully rounded muzzle improves all-day comfort during extended periods of driving or sitting. This ergonomic feature is angled and tapered to aid in concealment for both appendix carry and hip carry, an industry first. The increased smooth contact patch doesn’t just dissipate the acute discomfort of carrying a gun, it’s also a great place to add your own foam wedges, making the holster truly yours. The Pro can also accept any IWB holster hardware available, allowing the user to optimize their holster for any carry position, with cant angle and ride height adjustment, and for right or left handed carry. It also remains compatible with the PHLster Flex system.

The Pro comes standard with a pair of adjustable IWB loops and an adjustable ModWing to reduce printing.

Purchase a TuckStrut, a pair of Grip Hooks, and a Discreet Carry Concepts Monoblock Clip for increased versatility and customization.

The Pro is compatible with optics, suppressor sights, threaded barrels, and Gen5 Glocks.

Compatible fits are 9mm/40 Glock (26-34), G43/43x/48, Sig P320, Sig P365, Sig 365XL, Walther PDP

Holster fits the P320 perfectly and is comfortable when worn AIWB even without adding any wedges. Pistol is held securely, but is easy to both draw and reholster, and it reholsters without hanging up or hesitating. Draws are significantly faster than with the Floodlight and holstering works much better as the Pro 320 model is made specifically for the 320 model and it makes a difference over the generic Floodlight. Excellent fit, finish, and comfort with this holster and it is recommended. BTO service and shipping was top-notch as usual.

This is a well built holster. The snap loops give a secure connection to your belt, and the holster molding gives positive retention to your firearm. It’s a working holster, so you’ll get some finish wear, but it does what it is supposed to do.

I purchased this holster for my G19 Gen5 w/ RMR and am using it for AIWB carry. The shape is ergonomic with rounded surfaces – very comfortable both standing AND sitting. I was able to convert it to left-handed without any issues, and there are enough pre-drilled holes to adjust the holster position to my body type. The quality is outstanding. My only complaint is that the PHLster PRO is not specific to each gun model, so there is a bit of extra room with a G19 and even more room with a G26. If PHLster had model specific holsters, I would buy one for every pistol I carry!

I recently purchased this holster to try and transition from strong side IWB to appendix carry after several years, and my first impressions after a few hours of dry fire are great. Even though I don’t yet have any wedges to experiment with, concealment paired with an EDC Belt Co Foundations belt is good and I can already see the benefits of this position. I have no frame of reference as far as other AIWB holsters to compare it to, but the fit, finish, and quality of materials are all great—on par with other kydex I have from NSR Tactical and Henry Holsters. Plus, the price from BTO is 10 bucks less than buying direct from PHLster.
