The Sons of Liberty Gun Works AR-15 lower receivers are built from mil-spec 7075-T6 forgings from the lead forge in the U.S. They contour is fully machined leaving no flash marks from the forging. We take extra care when machining our lower receivers resulting in tolerances that are tighter and fits that are better than other lower receivers. We use mil-spec Matte black hard-coat anodized Mil 8625 Type 3 Class 2 finish.

This is great value for the do it yourself builder. Can you build cheaper? Yes, but you chose SOLGW because you wanted a rugged, dependable build. You get exactly that formula with these parts. Add your forward controls castle nut, B5 qd receiver plate, A5 buffer, and Sprinco spring and you basically have a SOLGW complete A5 lower. Or make it your own and build it your way and still enjoy the dependable lower parts kit with the Valtor A5 buffer tube that makes for a better shooting experience. The best part is Big Tex gets it shipped quick and doesn’t price gouge you on the shipping.
