Description
The Sons of Liberty Gun Works stripped upper receivers are made to the tightest tolerances while still being compatible with Mil-Spec parts and upper receivers. This ensures that there is absolutely no wobble between receivers which can affect accuracy. These stripped AR-15 upper receivers are a great starting point for your next build. They are forged from 7075-T6 aluminum, which is known for its high strength and crack resistant properties while also being lighter than 6061. After the forging process is complete, the receivers go through a final machining process to eliminate flash marks and true up the tolerances to be better than MIL-SPEC. Finally, each AR upper is coated in a black hardcoat anodized type III with an R5 bright dip to further increase corrosion and wear resistance. Tightest tolerances I’ve found. No wiggle between a sons lower and upper. My favorite brand for builds.

Thermal fit using Centurion barrel. Best fit I’ve seen. Fit to a Sionics lower, no wiggle at all. Tried it on a KAC lower. Very small amount of wiggle with the KAC, but fits very nice compared to a lot of uppers I’ve tried. Great upper all around!!

to take abuse. If you actually run your ARs look no further . VERY IMPRESSED! The upper receiver is very well made. The tolerances are very tight as the fit between the upper and a Centurion Arms lower is very snug with the no play whatsoever. This also a thermal fit so the barrel is a very tight fit. The fit and finish are top notch. SOLGW goes the ext mile on their products.
