The DS00 switch receptacle accepts ModButton and Hot Button switches as well as the Surefire ST07, SR07 and SR07-D-IT remote tape switches (sold separately). The DS Tailcap is a waterproof switch assembly for SureFire’s Scoutlight WeaponLights.  They also fit the Modlite WML bodies and any body that follows the Scout pattern. This tailcap includes system disable feature, click on/off pushbutton switch. The integrated pushbutton and remote switch assembly operates independently, providing switch redundancy.

    Good switch. No flicker, backup switch just in case.

    This is a little pricey for a SF style remote tailcap switch. However the dual function constant on button is very nice and the switch can be freely “clocked” or orientated for easier access to the button or better plug management. If you run with a vertical foregrip if you adjust your grip you can actually actuate the button with your support side hand still. Not the lightest or cheapest solution but probably the most proven.

    these are a good backup option to have in case your pad goes down. they also tend to be more reliable than the other surefire tailcap adapter
