The DS00 switch receptacle accepts ModButton and Hot Button switches as well as the Surefire ST07, SR07 and SR07-D-IT remote tape switches (sold separately). The DS Tailcap is a waterproof switch assembly for SureFire’s Scoutlight WeaponLights. They also fit the Modlite WML bodies and any body that follows the Scout pattern. This tailcap includes system disable feature, click on/off pushbutton switch. The integrated pushbutton and remote switch assembly operates independently, providing switch redundancy.

Didn’t work with my Modlite PLHV2. I’m sure it would have worked fine on a Surefire light. I chalk it up to tolerance differences between manufacturers. With that being said, beware that if you have this issue, that Surefire will not warranty the tailcap unless you can prove that it doesn’t function on one of their brand of lights. BTO was excellent though.

Great product. Only improvement I would suggest is more rounded/less sharp wings around the button. After a long lowlight class i could see that wearing the thumb meats thin. But as a whole its a rock solid upgrade.
