It includes a system-disable feature, a click on/off pushbutton switch, and an ST07 switch assembly with a 7″ plug-in momentary-on remote tape switch. This is the ultimate, panic-proof modular light tail cap to have: If you are worried about your switch (be it Modlite or Unity or SureFire for that matter) incurring a failure or accidental disconnect (entirely possible when tussling with would-be raiders of Mom’s basement coming for the precious tendies), this tailcap has a streamlined but still prominently accessible buttom that can be partly depressed for momentary or fully depressed with a very positive CLICK to turn on constant activation of your white/IR light.
Yes, it is expensive, because Surefire. And the switch that comes with it is arguably not the best, but it’s a good placeholder while you save up your allowance for a Unity Hot rail-mount button in FDE to flex on the poors.
