That, in turn, invariably lead to gouged-up magazine wells that won’t allow empty mags to fall free when they should. Damaged magazine releases were also a result.

Its specially formed tip is shaped to release the magazine release spring with maximum bite and leverage. You’ll notice the rounded tip is also highly polished stainless steel, that can’t damage the mag well or mag release…ever.

As a Glock Armorer & Advanced Armorer since the late 1990’s, I’ve fought with mag release changes for decades. They only became more irritating with Gen4 & 5. This tool takes most of the frustration out of changing the mag release. It was worth the price for this tool. Of course BTO’s customer service and speedy shipping was top notch as usual.

Using this tool makes the annoying job of removing the magazine release spring super easy. If you’ve got a few Glocks and work on them/ modify them yourself this is a very worthwhile investment.
