Specifically developed on the request of the United States Marine Corps, the VLTOR A5 Buffer System is considered to be one the most beneficial upgrades to the AR platform in the last increasing the reliability, accuracy, and performance of AR pattern weapons. For the operator that requires a specially weighted buffer, or wants to fine tune their weapon, the VLTOR A5 buffers come in five unique weights.
NOTE: A5 buffers are only compatible with other VLTOR A5 buffer system components. The buffers themselves are longer than traditional carbine buffers, and they cannot be used in standard carbine receiver extensions.
Export Control:
Many of VLTOR’s products are export controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Shipments from VLTOR may contain products controlled by the U.S. DoS or the U.S. DoC. Export of such items may not be done without prior approval from the U.S. Government and VLTOR.

Everyone else was sold out of the A5 H2 buffer, SOLGW suggested using this buffer regardless of barrel length. Not only was BigTex Ordnance cheaper on the buffer. They had a coupon code at the time and offered really cheap shipping rates. I ended up receiving the buffer before the buffer tube and accessories I ordered from a different company earlier. It really is an awesome deal when you can use a company located in your home state and find out they excel beyond expectations. I will be back!!!
