The Gen 3 Ambidextrous Charging Handle is designed to be significantly more robust than a GI handle as well as giving and ambidextrous capability. The Gen 3 latches are just the right size and shape to give you rapid access while having a generous radii to avoid being a snag hazard. Machined from 7075 T6 forgings, this handle is significantly stronger than those made from billet or extrusions. Large Stainless Steel pins hold the latches in place, and the mechanism is operated by a Stainless Steel sling. Exactly what you would expect from badger. High-quality part that is a noticeable improvement over mil-spec. These work wonders for rifles with optics. Really lets you get a solid grip on it. The lack of sharp edges is nice too (looking at you, geissele).

I have a Radian Raptor on my finished AR build. This one already seems much more Stout. On the Radian, the Grip portion wobbles a lot. On this one, the grip isn’t moving anywhere except in the direction it is intended to go. I may be swapping out that Radian for another one of these soon!
