Description
The Sons of Liberty Gun Works AR-15 lower receivers are built from mil-spec 7075-T6 forgings from the lead forge in the U.S. They contour is fully machined leaving no flash marks from the forging. We take extra care when machining our lower receivers resulting in tolerances that are tighter and fits that are better than other lower receivers. We use mil-spec Matte black hard-coat anodized Mil 8625 Type 3 Class 2 finish.

Great product, made by a great 2nd amendment company. The blemish was so tiny and barely noticeable and the fitment with an SOLGW upper receiver was spot-on. FFL process with BTO was simple and communication was stellar.

I was most disappointed with the fitment. Similar experience to another review on here, if I had known that it were going to be this loose I wouldn’t have gotten it. I was expecting the tight fitment between a SOLGW upper and this SOLGW lower that is so renown for Mega/Zev/SOLGW receivers. Mine slide together with no resistance and had gaps throughout. The lower itself is good quality, some imperfect anodizing on one side, which I don’t mind–I expected a blem of some kind. I’d have been less disappointed if it had fit snugly with my SOLGW upper. I should have brought that upper with me to the FFL to test it.
