Hodge Defense Systems bolt carrier groups are no frills, black nitrided bolt carrier groups with a 9310 bolt. When manufactured and heat treated correctly, 9310 is slightly stronger than Carpenter 158 bolts.
HDSI BCGs feature an all chrome gas key, are Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI), properly staked, individually inspected for quality assurance and individually test fired.

Was wanting a bcm bcg. People simp so hard for hodge, this came in stock and I figured it was a safe bet. The coating is absolutely terrible. It was so bad, I was trying to figure out if it was a counterfeit or something. In a few hundred rounds its already worn to hell.
I have not contacted hodge or bto to make this right yet, but I will, and update this review as things change. I don’t mind wear and tear on firearm items, but the coating of this bcg is trash tier.
