Hodge Defense Systems bolt carrier groups are no frills, black nitrided bolt carrier groups with a 9310 bolt. When manufactured and heat treated correctly, 9310 is slightly stronger than Carpenter 158 bolts.
HDSI BCGs feature an all chrome gas key, are Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI), properly staked, individually inspected for quality assurance and individually test fired.

BCG functioned fine no issues, however firing pin retaining pin was seized and broke upon removal. Not as big of a deal for me as I had a few more laying around
