This torch is a BEAST! Such amazing throw & spill. Superb option for search & rescue, outdoor adventures or even extensive off-body EDC.

This thing is an absolute flamethrower. Just a laser beam even compared to my previously highest performance lights, while still having very comparable spill. Features excellent runtime as well.

I am somewhat of a flashlight geek and have lights from Cloud Defensive, ModLite, Olight, Fenix, SureFIre, and on and on and on. First thing to note is that this light is built like a tank. I have no doubt it will hold up to hard use. It uses a single 21700 cell so it’s going to have a very good run time. It’s physically larger than other single 21700 cell lights like OLight Warrior Pro so it isn’t really something you’ll want to put in your front pocket. It has a balanced beam of spill and throw, but I lean towards preferring more throw than this offers. I have a tree line about 200 feet from the house which I often hit with a light looking for critters. It definitely illuminates enough to see at that distance, but not as well as the much cheaper (and lower durability) Olight Warrior Pro. I was also a bit disappointed that at this price point, the light doesn’t include any sort of lanyard attachment point and that an additional pocket clip / lanyard loop has to be purchased separately. It seems like that small hunk of plastic should come standard with the package. I like the nicely recessed tailcap switch and it definitely isn’t going to activate accidentally in your pocket. Then again, given the larger size, it probably won’t be carried in a pocket. The net is that this is super durable light with a compromise beam pattern to give a mix of throw and spill. It doesn’t have as much throw as I’d like and it sure would be nice to include a lanyard loop in the package and it’s a tad too large in both length and head diameter to use for front pocket carry.

Tons of throw with plenty of spill. A great light for outdoor use at distance.
