Surefire X300T-A Turbo LED 500 Lumen 66,000 Candela
With a stunning 66,000 candela focused by a precision-engineered, smooth parabolic reflector, the Surefire X300 Turbo generates a far-reaching high-intensity beam with a focused center spot that is highly effective for long-range engagements and for overcoming photonic barriers. You can count on the X300T-A to help you positively identify threats at significant distances while temporarily impairing your adversary’s vision. It also provides ample peripheral illumination to help you maintain situational awareness.
Activating the X300T-A is done via ambidextrous switching located at the rear of body, providing one-finger control — press the switch on either side for momentary-on activation, flip up or down for constant-on activation. Optional DG grip switches (for pistols) and a pressure activated XT07 tape switch (for long guns) permit the X300T-A to be activated without altering your grip on your weapon. The X300T-A can be attached to a pistol or a long gun since its Rail-Lock® system permits rapid attachment to and removal from either Universal or Picatinny rails. Its high-strength aerospace aluminum body is Mil-Spec Hard Anodized for superior toughness and is O-ring and gasket sealed to make it weatherproof.

Pretty sure I put a damn light Saber on my pistol. I’ve been running lesser lights for so long I forgot what real candela looked like. Lights up tree-tops at night far beyond what I’m capable of with a pistol. Haven’t had a chance to play with it too much shining through street lights or headlighs, my local fuzz tend to frown on that. Be sure to take the time to configure it correctly to mount to your rig. Can almost guarantee you’re not going to pull it out of the box and slap it on and go. And be sure to read the instructions COMPLETELY first, you know, so you don’t have to take it off and take it back apart because you put the tensioning screw in wrong.

Great throw of a light and way better hotspot than the Surefire X300 Ultra. Love that it takes Cr123 batteries, so don’t have to worry about charging. Also, works well in my existing Surefire holsters, no need to modify them like other brands. Win for Surefire

Still the standard, I regretted trading up to the 1000lm from the 500, this has the right spot and a nice flood, fits my existing setup and I might be losing it but the switches feel a lot easier to manipulate than the ones on the 1000.

Great light; amazing throw, intense hotspot, but still has a decent amount of flood. This is nearly as good outdoors as my Cloud Defensive Rein while being much smaller and still being the same size as my X300U. I don’t think you need to run out and replace all your old X300s and TLR-1s, but if you’ve got a handgun that needs a light, this should be a no-brainer.
