Surefire X300T-A Turbo LED 500 Lumen 66,000 Candela
With a stunning 66,000 candela focused by a precision-engineered, smooth parabolic reflector, the Surefire X300 Turbo generates a far-reaching high-intensity beam with a focused center spot that is highly effective for long-range engagements and for overcoming photonic barriers. You can count on the X300T-A to help you positively identify threats at significant distances while temporarily impairing your adversary’s vision. It also provides ample peripheral illumination to help you maintain situational awareness.
Activating the X300T-A is done via ambidextrous switching located at the rear of body, providing one-finger control — press the switch on either side for momentary-on activation, flip up or down for constant-on activation. Optional DG grip switches (for pistols) and a pressure activated XT07 tape switch (for long guns) permit the X300T-A to be activated without altering your grip on your weapon. The X300T-A can be attached to a pistol or a long gun since its Rail-Lock® system permits rapid attachment to and removal from either Universal or Picatinny rails. Its high-strength aerospace aluminum body is Mil-Spec Hard Anodized for superior toughness and is O-ring and gasket sealed to make it weatherproof.

Always ran x300s for pistol lights, they are the gold standard in my eyes. Now even more so with the turbo, it makes for the perfect duty/carry light. I do recommend the B model however, had nothing but issues with fitment with the A model but BTO being the great company swapped it out for a B no questions asked as usual.

First, I am knew to the A model x300. The ones without the thumbscrew so when I received the “kit”, I didn’t know what to do. Sure, there is instructions to help guide you but I felt they were lacking. If you are running a Glock, then use the Universal lock. If you have an Sig, use the picatinny. Regardless, I was able to figure it out and installed it on my G34. Again, I have owned ever SF handgun light since X200 even the Masterfire Series but they all have been B models. The A model didn’t feel to snug with my Sig. There is some wiggle room if I pull back and forth on the light but it could be operator error. Regardless, the beam is amazing!! It is super concentrated and “hot” providing a good way to PID/disorient/ work from behind the light depending on your mission. I will be switching all my current X300U-B to X300T-B!! Get one!!

So I normally LOVE Modlite. However the issue with many holster companies is they have not added Modlite into their production. My Safariland holsters will accept the Modlite however it doesn’t “click-in” like I would prefer. When I saw the “Turbo” i bought it immediately as I needed something with the same high output as the Modlite but would still fit all of my X300 holsters. This is a great light hands down.
