BTO Weekly Update #8 (LMT MRP Barrels, Rite in the Rain, BTO Lowers, ScopeCap Pro)

LMT Complete Barrel Assemblies
Big Tex just got a shipment of complete barrel assemblies from Lewis Machine & Tool (LMT). These barrels come with a gas block and gas tube already installed, plus an A2 flash hider. They have a variety of lengths and calibers, including this 11.5″ 5.56 barrel shown in the video below. (Click Here)
An important note – these barrels are made specifically for LMT’s monolithic upper receivers. So you can’t swap them onto just any AR-15 upper. But they are a direct fit if you’re building an LMT rifle.
Rite in the Rain Dope Pads
Keep your data protected from the elements with Rite in the Rain’s new dope pads. These notebooks are totally weatherproof, living up to the RITR name. The dope pad shown has data sheets for recording your rifle dope and ballistic info. ( Click here to go to BTOGEAR.COM) RITR makes these pads in a few different sizes and formats. Worth checking out if you need a rugged way to record data in the field.
Big Tex Ordnance Stripped Lowers
Big Tex found a few leftover stripped lowers with their logo from a previous production run. Nothing fancy here – just standard mil-spec lowers made from 7075 aluminum, type III class 2 anodizing, low shelf. The Big Tex logo is laser engraved along with serial numbers starting in “1836” – a nod to Texas history. ( Click Here to Grab a BTO Lower)
These are in very limited quantities since they are leftovers. So grab one while you can if you want a piece of Big Tex history!
One Hundred Concepts ScopeCap Pro
The last new item featured is the One Hundred Concepts ScopeCap Pro/ This is a neat combo device that gives you flip-up scope caps plus a kill flash for the objective lens. The kill flash and flip caps are held in place by a rubber band and are easy to flip up independently when needed. (Click Here)
One Hundred Concepts makes scope covers and kill flash combos for a variety of common scope objective sizes. An interesting product for keeping lenses protected and reducing scope glare.
