The Duty RDS™ (Red Dot Sight) offers a bright, crisp 2 MOA dot that’s ideal for short to medium range target engagements. All new windage and elevation adjustments are flush mounted and waterproof, eliminating the need for protective caps. The turrets provide audible “clicks” when zeroing the optic. The dot brightness intensity switch is a digital keypad with intuitive push buttons that can easily be manipulated while wearing gloves. The pressure forged aluminum alloy housing provides durability against extreme abuse and drastic temperature changes. The Duty RDS comes with a one-piece torsion nut mount that attaches to MIL-STD-1913 picatinny rails. The sight is fully compatible with all generations of night vision devices.
The Duty RDS withstands extremely tough handling and offers Aimpoint quality at a more accessible price point.

Looks just like my 10+ year old PRO through the glass, although the smaller form factor and lighter weight is noticeable when on the gun.
Giving it only 4 stars as I wish it came with the red/orange tool that came with my ACRO and T2 for dealing with the battery door.

Great product from aim point as usual. Was a little hesitant about Trying the dot. But I went ahead and pulled the trigger, and I have not been disappointed. The aim point quality for the price you cannot beat. Definitely love the design of the optic and how It is made. Definitely would recommend not a big fan of the buttons and using a special tool for it, but it grew on me. Would definitely recommend 10 out of 10.

Love this red dot! At this price the trijicon mro is the only other red (or green) dot worth considering. Crisp dot with no bleeding and very easy to use. I wouldn’t consider spending twice as much for a T2 simply because I don’t think they could improve on this so much that it could be worth double the price. You can’t go wrong with this dot
